It's been a busy few months for the Superego Cafe team. We've just finished writing the third edition of The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal. Although this book is aimed at all healthcare professionals, we've taken the opportunity to include all the topics listed in the MRCPsych curriculum of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.Over sixty new and updated chapters offer a one stop solution for anyone who wants to read clinical papers with more confidence. Despite having more content, the book retains its unique structure and easy-to-read format. Every chapter focuses on a single topic, assuming no prior knowledge. The book will be published in early 2012 by PasTest. It's available to pre-order on the Amazon.co.uk website.
In a parallel process we've also been working on the Critical Appraisal Online Course 2012 version, which is due for release in a few weeks. This is a completely updated version of the popular multimedia course. I'll be posting more about the changes as the release date approaches.
